Iran has attacked a production facility of Emirates Global Aluminum, a government-owned aluminum producer in the United Arab Emirates. The building has been extensively damaged.
The company said that the attack took place on Saturday (March 28) morning. They said their Al Tawiliyah manufacturing facility was targeted. It is located in the Khalifa Economic Zone of Abu Dhabi.
The company also said in a statement that numerous workers were injured by Iranian missiles and drones fired at their production facilities. But the condition of none of them is serious. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.
Earlier, Al Jazeera reported that missile debris fell in the Khalifa Economic Zone on Saturday morning. It caught fire in several buildings there.

The Ministry of Defense of the Emirates said that Iran fired 20 ballistic missiles and 37 drones at them on Saturday alone. However, they did not say how many missiles and drones were shot down.
The country's defense ministry also said that 398 missiles have been intercepted since the start of the war. 1 thousand 872 drones have been intercepted.The Iranian attack has so far killed 11 people in the emirate. Three of them are military personnel.
