Britain-Germany-Greece no to Trump's call for help

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has made it clear that the UK will not get involved in a wider war in the Middle East. He made that comment about his country's non-involvement in the ongoing war in the Middle East after Trump's recent warning.

A day earlier, US President Donald Trump warned that if allies including the United Kingdom do not provide military assistance to the region, the future of the Western military alliance NATO may be at risk.

After Trump's threats, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said that the safety of British citizens in the region is guaranteed and the UK's top priority is to take necessary measures to protect itself and its allies.

He said Britain would not allow itself to become part of a wider conflict and would continue to work towards a swift solution to restore security and stability in the region.

Meanwhile, Germany has said that NATO has nothing to do with Iran's war. A German government spokesman said Germany would not take part in the war and would not join any operation to keep the Strait of Hormuz open militarily.

He said, as long as this war continues, Germany will not participate in it in any way. We will not even participate in any attempt to keep the Straits of Hormuz open by military force.Similarly, Greece will not engage in any kind of military operation in the Strait of Hormuz, said Pavlos Marinakis, the spokesperson of the Greek government.
